Adekunle Gold Clarifies Twin Rumors, Discusses Family

Adekunle Gold addressed rumors regarding the birth of twins, stating that he and his wife, Simi, did not give birth to twins, but rather, the speculation arose from a cryptic Snapchat post in January. He confirmed that their first daughter, Deja, born in May 2020, is already showing interest in music.

Gold mentioned that the confusion stemmed from a post that led to assumptions about their family. He also revealed that they purchased two cars on the day of their official pregnancy announcement, suggesting a double blessing rather than a biological one.

Simi confirmed the birth of their son, Adejare Kosoko, on March 10, 2026, with the announcement made on April 1st. The couple, who married in January 2019, is preparing for the release of Gold's deluxe album on May 8, 2025, which will feature five tracks, including collaborations with Simi.
