Petrol Prices Adjusted Nationwide: Lagos Depots Update

On September 8, 2026, various petroleum depots in Lagos announced changes in their Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) prices, resulting in a mixed market response. Ascon raised its PMS price by N10 to N1,280 per litre, while NIPCO also remained at N1,280.

Conversely, Integrated and Sahara reduced their prices by N9 each, settling at N1,270. Lister decreased its price from N1,280 to N1,277, while Pinnacle maintained its price at N1,266, the lowest among Lagos depots.

Other depots like Aiteo, Bono, Pivot, and Wosbab held steady at N1,270, and MRS at N1,267. Notably, Nepas and Sahara's Port Harcourt operations quoted much higher prices at N1,840 and N1,950 per litre, respectively.

Chinedu Ukadike, the Public Relations Officer of IPMAN, stated that petrol prices are expected to decline further due to a recent drop in international crude oil prices, which is already reflected at the Dangote Refinery and various depots.
