Oyo APC Protests Alleged Victimisation of Lawmaker Over N300bn Loan Approval

The APC in Oyo State protested alleged victimization of lawmaker Ibraheem Shittu over a leaked N300 billion loan approved by the state House Assembly under Governor Seyi Makinde. The protest, held at the APC Secretariat in Ibadan, aimed to show support for Shittu, who raised concerns about the loan approval and received threatening messages.

The party accused the governor of turning Oyo State into a "perpetual loan collector" and demanded transparency in the loan process. APC members organized a rally to ensure the safety of the lawmaker and criticized the governor's handling of previous loans.
