NADF and FCMB Partner to Empower Women Cassava Farmers in Oyo State

The Nigerian Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) and FCMB have collaborated to aid women cassava farmers in Oyo State. The initiative, supported by various organizations like Mastercard Foundation and PSALTRI International Company Limited, aims to empower 12,000 women in cassava cultivation.

NADF contributes 51% of the total fund, amounting to N798 million, while the Mastercard Foundation provides the remaining 49%. The partnership seeks to enhance agricultural growth, socio-economic development, and local food supply.

This aligns with President Bola Tinubu's agenda to promote local cassava products and reduce reliance on imports.
