NAF Identifies Victims of NAF 931 Aircraft Crash

The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has released the names of the crew and passengers who tragically lost their lives in the crash of NAF 931, an ATR-42 aircraft, in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State on Monday. Ldr AP Man-Ugwueje (Co-pilot), Flt.-Lt. IS Bako (Co-pilot), Warrant Officer Abubakar A (Aircraft Technician), and Cpl. Uguru HC (Aircraft Technician). Among the 20 passengers were Flt.-Lt. TL Lazarus, Flt.-Lt. M Akinloye, and several other military personnel and civilians.
Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, the Chief of the Air Staff, expressed deep condolences to the families and assured them of full support during this difficult time. He also directed a comprehensive investigation into the crash and urged the public to avoid speculation.
A condolence register has been opened at NAF Headquarters in Abuja for those wishing to pay respects.
