Nigerian Naira Gains N10.06 Against Dollar at Official Window

The Nigerian Naira appreciated by N10.06 against the US dollar at the official window on Monday, as per Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) data. The Naira closed at N465.29 to $1 compared to N475.35 on the previous trading day.

However, it lost N5 against the British pound, closing at N2.020 to £1. The currency remained flat against the Canadian dollar and lost N15 against the Euro.

The CBN's efforts seem to have positively impacted the Naira's performance in the foreign exchange market.
