The Central Bank of Nigeria confirmed the currency's appreciation. Market confidence rose with a $43.25 billion increase on November 3, 2025.

Trump's comments on Nigeria's support and potential military action caused initial concern but were offset by improved dollar supply. Traders in Lagos noted increased Naira value in the parallel market.
