Nigerian Naira Depreciates Against Dollar, Gains Slightly on British Pound

The Nigerian Naira lost N0.68 against the US Dollar at the official window, closing at N456.38 compared to N455.38 the previous day. However, it gained N5 against the Dollar in the parallel market, trading at N485.1.

The local currency also strengthened by N10 against the British Pound, trading at N1,980.1. The Naira remained stable against the Canadian Dollar and Euro, trading at N1,250 and N1,710 respectively.

The Central Bank of Nigeria's foreign exchange data revealed these fluctuations.
