Nigerian Naira Depreciates by N5.72 Against US Dollar at Official Window

The Nigerian Naira experienced a depreciation of N5.72 against the US Dollar at the official window, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Naira closed at N463.23 to $1, representing a loss of N5.72 compared to the previous day.

Additionally, the Naira lost N5 against the British Pound, trading at N2,025 to £1, and depreciated against the Euro as well. However, it maintained a flat rate against the Canadian Dollar.

These fluctuations highlight the ongoing challenges facing the Nigerian currency in the foreign exchange market.
