NALDA and Agbeyewa Farms Partner to Expand Cassava Farming in Nigeria, Boosting Global Trade

The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) and Agbeyewa Farms have entered a strategic partnership to expand cassava farming in Ekiti State, Nigeria. This collaboration, part of President Bola Tinubu's Renew Hope Agenda, aims to deepen Nigeria's involvement in the $3.65 billion global cassava trade and generate employment opportunities.

NALDA will clear an additional 5,000 hectares of land for Agbeyewa Farms to expand its operations, with plans to replicate the model in other states like Delta and Kwara. The initiative seeks to enhance Nigeria's cassava production competitiveness and reduce food input costs.
