NAMA Receives AFRAA Free Airspace Award for Aviation Excellence

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has been honored with the AFRAA Free Airspace Award, recognizing its outstanding service delivery and innovation in the aviation industry. John Tayo, the Director of Air Traffic Services at NAMA, received the award on behalf of the agency.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu praised NAMA's efforts to elevate Nigeria's airspace to global standards. Farouk Ahmed Umar, NAMA's Managing Director, was lauded as a visionary leader.

NAMA is committed to implementing free route airspace initiatives across borders in collaboration with countries in the West Central Africa region.
