National Assembly Proposes Nov 2026 for Presidential, Governorship Polls in Nigeria

The National Assembly in Nigeria has suggested conducting the presidential and gubernatorial elections in November 2026 instead of the usual February-March timeline. The proposed amendments to the Electoral Act aim to ensure elections are held within 185 days before the expiration of the incumbent's tenure.
