NAZAS Disburses ₦11.9 Million for Education in Abuja

The National Zakat and Sadaqat Administration (NAZAS) disbursed ₦11.9 million to beneficiaries, including the payment of school fees for 152 pupils in Abuja, whose parents could not afford the fees. The disbursement ceremony was held at the NASFAT mosque in Utako, Abuja, led by Alhaji Isiaq Ajibola, the chairman of NAZAS FCT Zone.

This initiative is part of NAZAS's ongoing efforts to support vulnerable members of society, focusing on education and healthcare. Established in 2014, NAZAS has collected and distributed nearly ₦200 million in cash and material support annually, targeting the needy.

Ajibola emphasized that every child deserves access to education regardless of their economic background. The agency has previously undertaken various impactful projects, including constructing boreholes in underserved communities and providing income-generating items.

Ajibola also expressed gratitude to donors for their contributions, which enable NAZAS to continue its humanitarian work.
