Nigeria's Cashew Industry Could Generate $10 Billion Annually, Says NCAN President

The Nigeria Cashew Association (NCAN) President, Dr. Ojo Joseph Ajanaku, disclosed that Nigeria could earn up to $10 billion yearly from the cashew industry with the right policies and investments.

Ajanaku highlighted the importance of value addition strategies and the need for a conducive policy framework to boost the sector's growth. The NCAN plans to host the Nigeria Cashew Day in various cities to engage stakeholders and promote the sector's economic potential.

Ajanaku urged the government to prioritize local processing, introduce incentives, and improve data management to enhance Nigeria's cashew production capacity.
