NCDMB Launches 2025/26 Innovation Challenge for Oil and Energy Solutions

The Nigerian Content Development Monitor Board (NCDMB) has introduced the 2025/26 Innovation Challenge for Oil and Energy Solutions, encouraging the submission of technology-driven ideas to address challenges in the oil and gas value chain. The initiative, starting in December 2025, targets startups, research institutions, academia, and service providers to develop scalable solutions that deepen local content and accelerate the commercialization of Nigerian innovations.

The selected innovators will receive technical support, mentorship, and access to an expert ecosystem at the NCDMB Technology Innovation Incubation Center in Yenagoa. The focus areas include geology, geophysics, big data analytics, local material substitutes, cryogen technology, digitalization, and environmental compliance within the energy sector.
