NDC Disclaims Mr. Okei Ezeala as Deputy Publicity Secretary

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a public disclaimer regarding Mr. Okei Ezeala, clarifying that he is not the Deputy National Publicity Secretary and does not hold any position within the party's leadership structure.

The NDC emphasized that Ezeala was neither elected nor appointed to this role and is not a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) or the National Working Committee (NWC). The party's statement followed multiple complaints from members across various states about Ezeala's activities, which allegedly misled party members and stakeholders.

The NDC accused Ezeala of impersonation and warned that engaging with him could pose risks to individuals. Furthermore, Ezeala reportedly approached members with promises of securing party tickets and political appointments in exchange for financial payments, despite lacking authorization from the party.

The NDC urged members to verify the identities of individuals claiming to represent the party and to report any suspicious activities to the national secretariat for appropriate action.
