NDF Demands Recall of 26 Rivers Lawmakers Over Impeachment Move Against Governor Fubara

The Nigeria Democrat Front (NDF) has demanded the recall of 26 lawmakers in Rivers State for initiating impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The NDF alleges that the move is driven by personal interests associated with Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister.

The NDF calls on stakeholders within the APC in Rivers State to recall the lawmakers, claiming they no longer represent the interests of their constituencies but those of Wike. The NDF accuses Wike of seeking to plunge Rivers State into crisis for personal gain and urges the people to reject the lawmakers.

The NDF also calls on Governor Wike to stand firm against the lawmakers and not fear their actions, echoing support from Bola Tinubu.
