NDIC Urges Nigerians to Link Alternate Accounts for Easy Bank Refunds

Thompson Oludare Sunday, emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate account information and protecting account details. The guidance is part of NDIC's strategy to strengthen depositor protection and reinforce public confidence in the financial system.

Customers are urged to report irregularities promptly to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for resolution. The NDIC also highlighted recent improvements in deposit insurance coverage to enhance financial security for depositors.
