NDLEA Arrests Suspected Drug Lord Bound for Saudi Arabia, Uncovers Illegal Lab in Lagos

The NDLEA apprehended Yussuf Abayomi Azeez, a wanted drug lord, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos as he tried to travel to Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. Azeez's arrest led to the discovery of a massive clandestine laboratory in Lekki producing illegal substances.

Alongside Azeez, Abideen Keker Ekun was also arrested, and Ibrahim Moham was caught transporting tramadol and cannabis. The operation involved collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service, resulting in significant drug seizures.
