NDLEA Seizes Cocaine Shipment from Brazil, Detains 20 Crew Members in Nigeria

The Nigerian NDLEA intercepted a cocaine shipment from Brazil at Apapa Seaport, detaining 20 Filipino crew members. The vessel, MV Nord Bosporu, arrived from Brazil and was inspected, revealing 20 kilograms of cocaine hidden among the cargo.

The captain and crew were taken into custody for further investigation. This incident follows previous drug trafficking crackdowns at the seaport.

NDLEA Chairman Moham Buba Marwa commended the vigilance of officials and warned drug cartels and local collaborators to desist from such activities.
