NDU to Host 1st Marine Blue Economy Conference in Bayelsa

The Niger Delta University (NDU) is set to host the 1st Marine Blue Economy Conference and Exhibition (IMABEC 2025) in Bayelsa, aiming to promote sustainable blue economy advancement. The event will feature high-level sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities involving stakeholders from government, academia, industry, and local communities.

Johnson, the Director of the Institute of Marine Studies at NDU, announced the event, which will facilitate discussions on innovative investments in the marine sector. Key partners include NIMASA, NPA, NDDC, and the Nigerian Shipper's Council.

The conference aims to drive collaboration and investment in the blue economy space in Nigeria and West Africa.
