NELFUND disburses N1.33bn to UNILAG for 2025-2026 Academic Session

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed N1.33 billion to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the 2025-2026 academic session. The fund aims to cover tuition and related fees for 6,308 eligible students at UNILAG.

NELFUND emphasizes transparency and student welfare, ensuring prompt disbursement of approved student loan funds. The scheme was established to administer Nigeria's student loan program, initiated by President Bola Tinubu in April 2024, offering interest-free loans to students.
