On Thursday, the Netherlands National Football Team defeated Tunisia 3-1 at Arrowhead Stadium, securing their advancement to the World Cup knockout stage as group winners in Group F. The match saw the Dutch take an early lead when Tunisia's Elly Skhiri scored an own goal in the third minute.

Brian Brobbey extended the lead shortly after, scoring in the seventh minute. Tunisia managed to pull one back in the second half through Hazem Mastouri's header from a corner taken by Hannibal Mejbri.

However, Jan Paul van Heck restored the two-goal advantage for the Netherlands with a header in the 54th minute. The Netherlands finished the group stage with seven points, topping the group and avoiding a clash with Brazil in the last 32.

Coach Ronald Koeman emphasized the need to focus on their upcoming match against Morocco, acknowledging the quality of the North African side. Tunisia's campaign ended disappointingly, having conceded 12 goals in three matches.
