Itele D Icon Shines in "Jagun Jagun 2" Teaser Release
A teaser for the sequel "Jagun Jagun 2," released on October 21, 2026, has generated significant buzz on social media. The promotional clip features a notable lineup including Funke Akindele, Ibrahim Chatta, Itele D Icon, Gabriel Afolayan, Kiekie, and Adebayo Salami, all delivering lines in English, which is unusual for a production rooted in Yoruba cinema.
Itele D Icon, whose full name is Ibrahim Yekini, became a focal point of online reactions due to his English delivery, which fans found particularly amusing. The sequel will include returning cast members such as Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Ademoye, and others, alongside new additions like Wasiu "Kwam 1" Ayinde and comedian Cute Abiola.
The film is set to premiere on Netflix on December 4, 2026, marking a significant continuation of one of Nollywood's successful franchises.
