Wike Inspects Access Road Construction in Abuja

On Friday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), inspected the ongoing construction of an access road to the FCT Fire Service Station, known as Arterial Road SI, which connects Ring Road II in Kaura District to Oladipo Diya Way in Gaduwa District, Abuja. The project includes the construction of one collector road, two important local streets, and a minor access road.

Wike noted the positive socio-economic impact of the new infrastructure, highlighting that it is generating employment opportunities for young people. He emphasized the strategic importance of the access road, stating that its completion would transform the area's landscape and stimulate economic activities.

Wike expressed satisfaction with the construction pace, particularly the completion of the bridge structure. He directed the contractor to extend the road to maximize benefits for residents, with confidence that the project would be completed by December despite the additional scope of work.
