Newcastle United Completes Yoane Wissa Signing, Clearing Path for Alexander Isak's Liverpool Move

Newcastle United has finalized the signing of striker Yoane Wissa from Brentford, paving the way for Alexander Isak's record departure to Liverpool. The Magpies secured Wissa in a multi-million deal after failing to land Benjamin Šeško.

Isak's transfer was prompted by Callum Wilson's exit, leaving Eddie Howe's squad in need of attacking reinforcements. Brentford will receive Wissa's fee in installments with a future transfer clause.

The protracted negotiations caused frustration for Wissa, who publicly expressed disappointment. This signing marks Newcastle's second major attacking addition this summer, following a failed pursuit of Šeško.
