NFF Assures Eric Chelle of Unpaid Salaries Ahead of AFCON 2025 in Morocco

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) assures Eric Chelle of receiving his unpaid salaries before the AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco. Chelle, who had reported three months of unpaid wages, is set to join the 28-man squad for the competition.

The NFF, backed by government support, has covered Chelle's salaries until October. Chelle's appointment in January followed a disappointing defeat in the World Cup qualifiers.

The Super Eagles are preparing for AFCON 2025, drawing Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in their group. Chelle will lead the team, with preparations including a friendly against Egypt on December 16.
