NFF Clarifies No Official Response from FIFA on DR Congo Players' Eligibility Dispute

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has clarified that they are yet to receive an official response from FIFA regarding the eligibility dispute of certain DR Congo players in the 2026 World Cup African playoff against Nigeria. Despite media claims of FIFA dismissing Nigeria's appeal, the NFF Secretary General, Moham Sanusi, confirmed that no official update has been received from FIFA.

The NFF had submitted a petition to FIFA questioning the eligibility of DR Congo players, but as of now, there has been no response from FIFA.
