ROLEIPWAN Trains Kebbi Officials in Safety and Mental Health

The Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative Partners West Africa Nigeria (ROLEIPWAN) recently conducted a training program for 60 Kebbi State officers under the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) Programme. The workshop, held in Birnin Kebbi and sponsored by ROLEIPWAN and funded by UKAid, focused on capacity building in mental health and safety.

Participants from three local government areas were trained in psychological support approaches, identifying community needs, and integrating mental health strategies into CSP work effectively. The training aimed to equip officers with the skills to address mental health issues and enhance peace and security within their communities, emphasizing the importance of government support for such initiatives.
