Nigerian Exchange Group Board Meeting Set for April 29, 2026
Nigerian Exchange Group Plc has notified the market that its Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, 29 April 2026 to consider and approve the Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. The approved statements are expected to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and NGX on or before 30 April 2026.
Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGXGROUP) has issued a formal notification, dated 21 April 2026, that its Board of Directors will convene on Wednesday, 29 April 2026. The primary agenda item is the consideration and approval of the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026 (Q1 2026 UFS).
Following Board approval, NGX Group states the Q1 2026 UFS will be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Nigerian Exchange Limited on or before 30 April 2026.
In line with Rules 17.17 and 17.18 of the NGX Issuers Rules, the company confirmed that a Closed Period commenced on 1 April 2026. This restriction prohibits all insiders — including directors and employees — from directly or indirectly dealing in NGXGROUP shares until 24 hours after the Q1 2026 UFS has been filed with the Commission and released to NGX and the investing public.
