The top three equities by volume—Fortis Global Insurance Plc, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, and Sterling Financial Holdings Company Plc—accounted for 1.544 billion shares worth N4.067 billion in 3,017 deals, representing 42.33% of total equity turnover volume and 3.12% of total equity turnover value. Market breadth weakened significantly, with only nine equities recording gains compared to 56 gainers in the previous week, while 80 equities declined in price.
