Nick Donnelly Calls for Arrest of Sheikh Gumi Over US Airstrike Comments

Deacon Nick Donnelly has called for the immediate arrest of controversial Nigerian Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi following his comments criticizing US airstrikes on Christmas Day. Donnelly accused Gumi of opposing military action against Islamist insurgents and referred to him as a "Christian warrior." President Bola Tinubu publicly condemned Gumi, warning of being complicit in his actions.

The Federal Government is urged to suspend collaboration with the US to eliminate what Gumi describes as genocide against Christians.
