Niger Delta Youths Reject Calls to Remove NNPCL CEO, Support Ojulari's Leadership

The Niger Delta Youth Council Nigeria (HOSTCONYCN) rejected calls for the removal of Engr. Bayo Ojulari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

The condemnation came in response to a demand by the Ijaw Youth Council for Ojulari's ousting, which HOSTCONYCN deemed unnecessary. The Niger Delta youth expressed support for Ojulari, citing his transparency and accountability in office, including significant revenue remittances to the federation account.

Dr. AK Etta Peters of HOSTCONYCN emphasized the positive impact Ojulari has had in his short tenure.

The youth urged President Bola Tinubu to disregard the removal request and maintain Ojulari in his position.
