The incident, described as worrisome and tragic, highlights the dangers of approaching fallen tankers despite sensitization efforts.

The Governor commended the prompt response of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency and assured support to affected families. The explosion reportedly killed 30 people and injured several others in Essa community, with the injured receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Center in Bida.
