Niger Governor Receives Rescued Abducted School Children Amid Security Concerns

Niger State Governor Moham Umaru Bago received 100 students from St. Mary's Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri Agwara Local Government, who were rescued by security agencies after a two-week operation. The children were presented by security officials including Abdullahi Idi Hong and Malam Nuhu Ribadu.

Governor Bago expressed gratitude for the rescue and assured the federal government's determination to protect communities. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commended the security agencies for rescuing the students and teachers, highlighting the state government's efforts to provide medical attention and reintegrate the children with their families.
