ALGON Commends Nigerians for Resilience on Nigeria's 65th Independence

The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has commended Nigerians for their resilience amidst the challenges facing the country on its 65th Independence Anniversary. ALGON's National Chairman, Bello Lawal, appreciated efforts aimed at strengthening local government administration and called for a stronger commitment to promoting peace, justice, and equity across Nigeria's 774 Local Government Areas.

ALGON highlighted the significance of prayer and hard work in navigating Nigeria towards prosperity. The association extended congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other key stakeholders, recognizing Nigeria's unity and resilience in the face of existential challenges.
