Nigeria Initiates 2025 Oil Licensing Round to Boost Sector Investments

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has revealed plans to kick off the 2025 Oil Licensing Round on December 1, 2025. This initiative, announced by NUPRC's CEO Gbenga Komolafe, seeks to boost oil production and attract investments in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.

The move follows the approval of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021 by President Bola Tinubu. The event aims to connect stakeholders and potential investors to address challenges and enhance Nigeria's upstream sector's capacity for increased oil production.
