PDP Governors Warn of Nigeria Drifting Towards Dictatorship Under Tinubu

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum expressed concerns about Nigeria's governance under Bola Tinubu, warning of a drift towards dictatorship. The forum highlighted the deepening disconnect between the government and the people, leading to increased poverty, hunger, and insecurity despite the country's abundant resources.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, the forum's chairman, emphasized the need for accountability, humility, and truth in leadership to address the prevailing challenges. The forum called for urgent action to tackle insecurity, reform the judicial system, and implement effective economic policies to alleviate poverty and hunger.

It urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from values like compassion, tolerance, and justice for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
