Nigeria and Indonesia Strengthen Livestock Technology Partnership

Nigeria and Indonesia deepen their collaboration on livestock technology, as Indonesian Ambassador Bambang Suharto led a delegation to meet with Nigeria's Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha. The partnership aims to enhance Nigeria's livestock sector through technology transfer, exemplified by Indonesia's donation of 1,000 doses of semen for artificial insemination in Sokoto and Kebbi states.

This initiative has achieved a 70% success rate in producing calves, showcasing the value of technology exchange. Both countries are set to expand similar interventions, with Nigeria keen on adopting Indonesia's livestock innovations.
