PDP Urges Unity and Justice for Nigeria's 66th Independence

On the occasion of Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, represented by spokesman Prince Christopher Odianarewo, urged Nigerians to embrace unity, tolerance, and brotherly love. The PDP emphasized the importance of reflecting on the nation's journey since independence and reaffirming commitment to a better future.

The party commended the resilience and determination of Nigerians facing economic difficulties, such as rising living costs and declining purchasing power, which it attributed to the policies of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal and Lagos State governments. The PDP called for a focus on shared identity and common destiny, promoting tolerance and responsible citizenship while rejecting division based on ethnic, religious, or political differences.

It advocated for a society where justice, economic opportunities, security, and human dignity are accessible to all. The party encouraged peaceful participation in the democratic process, expressing faith in the Nigerian people and hope for a united future.
