Nigerian-American Artist Uzo Njoku Launches Exclusive Fabric for Lagos Exhibition

Nigerian-American artist Uzo Njoku debuts an exclusive fabric for her Lagos exhibition, featuring vibrant patterns and contemporary Nigerian experiences. The exhibition will unveil nine new paintings exploring various layers of Nigerian life, including intergenerational conflicts and queer identities.

Njoku's signature use of patterns and textures, inspired by African traditions, will be central to the collection. Attendees can design and wear unique pieces from the fabric, capturing the essence of Njoku's artistic vision.

The exhibition also pays tribute to renowned photographers Seydou Keïta and Malick Sidibé, blending Yoruba spirituality with a modern twist.
