Nigerian Film Corporation debunks rumors of Ali Nuhu’s death

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) has debunked rumors circulating on social media about the death of its Managing Director, Ali Nuhu. The speculation began when a Facebook user, Ifeoma Chigbo, posted a video claiming Nuhu had passed away, but expressing hope that the report was false.

Another post emerged alleging that the veteran actor and filmmaker had died in a car crash. In response, the NFC's Director of Public Affairs, Brian Etuk, issued a statement on Monday evening, confirming that Nuhu was alive and well, and fully carrying out his duties.

The NFC emphasized that the reports of Nuhu's death were false and malicious. The corporation also warned that measures were being taken to apprehend those responsible for spreading misinformation.

The NFC expressed appreciation for the genuine concern shown by the public and stakeholders.
