Nigerian Technologist Advocates Stronger Alumni Networks for Global Opportunities

Nigerian technologist and governance advocate, Chidozie Managwu, emphasized the importance of stronger alumni networks to enhance Africans' access to global opportunities, particularly the United Kingdom Global Talent Visa. Managwu, the founder of TalentHacked, highlighted how alumni networks can provide peer mentorship and support in navigating the visa application process successfully.

Despite the visa program offering a flexible route for African professionals in technology, academia, and the arts to live and work in the UK, challenges lie in effectively documenting achievements and meeting eligibility criteria. Managwu stressed the need for a supportive community infrastructure to assist individuals in the application process.
