C&S Leader Urges Nigerian Govt for Transparent Tax System

Samuel Akintobi, a leader in the Cherubim and Seraphim church, called on the Nigerian government to ensure transparency and value for citizens in the new tax system. The government was urged to use tax revenues judiciously to benefit ordinary Nigerians amidst criticisms of the recent tax reforms.

Akintobi emphasized the need for a strong revenue base to move the nation forward economically. Hezekiah Adelek, the chairman of the church, highlighted the importance of transparency in taxation and the need for citizens to see the impact of their tax contributions on public services and welfare.
