Nigerian athletes showcased their talent at the Premium Trust Bank Abuja half marathon, with Adamu Shehu delivering the nation's best result by finishing 4th overall with a time of 1:08:25.49. Shambor Akusho Lydia made history for Nigeria by securing second and third place.

Kenyan runners reaffirmed their dominance with a clean sweep in the men's and women's elite categories. The event was commended by Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the Nation Sport Commission (NSC) and organized by Nilayo Sports Management Limited.
