NAICOM: Nigeria's Aviation Insurers Lead in Claims Settlement Speed

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) highlighted Nigeria's aviation insurers' efficiency in settling claims faster than their foreign counterparts. Speaking at the Akwaaba African Travel Market in Lagos, NAICOM emphasized its commitment to aligning Nigeria's aviation insurance framework with global best practices.

The Deputy Commissioner Technical, Ahmed Jankara, stressed the importance of protecting aviation stakeholders and ensuring policyholder safety within the industry. NAICOM's engagement with local and international stakeholders aims to enhance the understanding of aviation risk pricing and promote the domestication of aviation insurance assets in Nigeria.
