Frank Onyeka Set for Permanent Move to Coventry City

Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka is nearing a permanent transfer to Coventry City FC after the club secured promotion to the Premier League. Coventry achieved this milestone with a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Onyeka joined Coventry on loan from Brentford FC in January, with the agreement stipulating that the transfer would become permanent if the team gained promotion. The 28-year-old midfielder made 11 league appearances during his loan spell.

His arrival at Coventry coincided with an improvement in the team's performance, leading to their return to the Premier League after a 25-year absence. Previously, Onyeka struggled to secure regular playing time at Brentford and spent the last season on loan at FC Augsburg.
