Nigeria's Gas Sector Progress Praised Under Tinubu's Leadership

Engr. Farouk Ahmed, CEO of the Nigerian Midstream Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), highlighted the advancements in Nigeria's gas sector under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership during the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Doha, Qatar.

Ahmed emphasized the reforms driving investment and sustainable growth in the gas value chain, with a focus on cleaner energy solutions. Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar stressed Nigeria's active participation in the GECF, aligning with the country's foreign policy objectives and economic diplomacy.

The delegation aims to engage in global gas cooperation and energy transition strategies.
