Uganda Announces Strong 30-Man Squad for 2025 AFCON in Morocco

Uganda has revealed its 30-man provisional squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), featuring key players like Uch Ikpeazu and Travi Mutyaba. The team, drawn in Group C alongside Tanzania and Tunisia, will kick off their campaign with a match against Tunisia on December 23, 2025.

Notable inclusions in the squad are Jame Boger and Deni Onyango, with the latter having retired from international duty. The squad will play two friendly matches in Morocco before the tournament officially begins.

Uganda has a rich AFCON history, with their best performance dating back to 1978 when they reached the final.
