Semi Ajayi Set to Return to Hull City After Injury

Semi Ajayi, a central defender for Hull City, is preparing for his return to action following an injury layoff. The injury occurred during Nigeria's third-place match against Egypt in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations last month, which caused Ajayi to miss the last six competitive matches for Hull City.

Hull City's head coach, Sergej Jakirovi, provided an update on Ajayi's condition, stating that the defender is expected to rejoin full team training next week. Ajayi, who is 32 years old, joined Hull City on a free transfer last summer after leaving West Bromwich Albion and has featured in 12 league matches this season, scoring one goal.
